I put two of those rock runners in my kitchen window atrium thingie. I have succulents and plants on top. Someitmes when I water the plants the water runs over and I shiver to imagine the mold that might be breeding beneath. but those damn rock runners look so cool!

love the twig demilune table. I've painted the wall and trim the same color in my bedroom & family room -do you have any guidelines on when you think its best to do that?

i just think, that it's time to revive trim & wall color being uniform. it's a classic treatment and one that has been shelved over the past few years to make way for a more modern graphic look.

i don't really feel that there is a particular guidline for when it is appropriate. but i do think it reads 'formal'. it has a historical house feel to it.

and look how great it looks against something like this demi lune which is more organic than formal. i love the mix.

thanks - you've given me encouragement to do it in the next room I repaint.
