these rugs would go SO well with les indiennes linens. the casualness of the textiles combined with the graphic, yet still lo-key weave of the rug make dash and albert dhurries a great accompaniment to the look. check it: dhurries are a low weave rug, originally produced in india. the final look, is high-end and casual. the linear quality of the design is great with the,more organic feel of the block print.i would love to see one of these placed upon a sisal or seagrass rug. very vintage colonial.
