ebay loss

aren't these pretty? a never been used, vintage set of 4 napkins and 4 placemats. found on ebay today. lost them to 'bobbypony'-- for something like a dollar more. i don't know which is worse, that i lost to 'bobbypony' or that i lost by a mere dollar.

Ugh...New old stock with tags say it ain't so!! That stinks.
Last week I lost on a horrible candy cane sweater (LOL). It was flammable & horrible. I was planning on wearing it to our annual Tacky Christmas Sweater Party (you can't get in the door without one) it would have been perfect...and i lost by about $1. I was a little too certain I was the only one in the world who would bid on such nonsense...:(
I hope my candy cane story made you feel a little better.

really, "ugh'? huh. as long as it's not been used and doesn't have that weird stink, i love vintage textiles. i think if they're not gross, they can be inspirational and look so totally cool with lovely pieces.

i used to try, really hard, (like we all did) in college to wear vintage clothing, but it came down to the "stink". i can't and couldn't bear it. i like my things to smell very 'clean'

BB8,
From another textile/linen freak, I feel your PAIN! !
O-U-C-H.

The wallpaper background in a couple of Gorsuch spreads is reminiscent of these beauts........

Keep your radar on, gotta be more out there....Alison
I'm changing my name to bobbypony.

So-from here on out, it's Bobbypony Sutton. Mkay?
