i'm pretty sure that in other parts of the world, the leaves are beginning to drop from the trees and the beautiful sketch of branches against a gray sky is beginning to form.
living in L.A., i have to go by memory only when it comes to seasonal changes. maybe that's why i've been noticing the branch motif in just about every form (it's in fierce competition with the ubiquitous telephone wire)
this lovely, lovely ring from etsy artist,

this is really cool. but i hate to think of the dust gathering potential.

also from lovell, why settle for a boring front door when you can welcome your guests with art:

meanwhile, i have to get my irrigation system working, so my garden doesn't die in the heat.

fabulous post! I really the branch screen door, and I'm definitely going to have to raid TheIntuitiveGarden's etsy store.
I love all the branch motifs and have a friend who would murder for that bed, though her cat would climb up it and sleep in the nest :)
It is beautiful to see the leaves change and fall, but I will be wishing I lived in L.A. in about 6 weeks from now when the novelty wears off and we are left with the cold and barren. I will try and remember the beauty you have pointed out in this post mid January.
