Give Away from Rian Rae Interiors

I'm happy to announce a summer partnership with *Rian Rae* by giving away a product a month. Three products, one each month all summer. Huzzah!  The first item that we're giving away is this lovely, Butterfly Mobile by Roost.

this is the actual mobile being given away value: $52.00

The butterflies are made from photo-etched, silver-plated steel and hang from pre-strung mono filament line, see above. Dimensions (flat): 13 1/2" square. Max. length: 52" L

This light catching, gently moving piece of art brings a touch of nature into your home and will look beautiful over a table setting, a covered porch, in a baby's room, a bedroom....any place that begs for a bit of peace and whimsy via a  kaleidoscope? a rabble? of butterflies.

A few ways to use mobiles in and around the  home { i.e. NOT what we're giving away - see above - just a few visuals to get you excited }

Hi, they are a bit of fun arn't they? They must look amazing when the light catches them! Unfortunately it's almost winter here, but still nice enough to cruise the bay on the weekends!

Recently discovered your blog. It's fantastic!! I just madeover my daughter's room (she left home 12 years ago!)- the mobile would look perfect in it. Here's a recipe-
Chicken Carbonara Delux

I got this recipe from App

Ingredients
12 oz uncooked spaghetti
8 pieces slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 Cups cooked chicken, cut-up
1/2 Cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 Cup whipping cream

Directions
1. Cook and drain spaghetti. 2. Fry bacon until crisp, 3. Remove bacon, reserve 1 tablespoon of grease. 4. Cook onion and garlic in grease. Stir frequently, until tender. 5. Stir spaghetti, chicken, cheese and whipping cream. Cook, until heated through. 6. Toss with bacon.

It's so easy!!!

looooove this! great giveaway. And here's what I would like to say, just to tell someone! I watched million dollar decorators on Bravo (fairly hideous but I am sure I will watch again), and inside Nathan Turner's fancy schmancy self-proclaimed pricey store, were two ottomans upholstered in a fabric that i have. i bought it at IKEA! for reals!!!

I stop in every couple of weeks when it's slow at work to see the new posts and lovely things. Imagine my surprise or stumbling upon a giveaway, that's still active! (I usually miss these :D) I'd love to see what my ditsy kitten would think of the reflections that mobile would cast on the den floor!

Love the butterflies! The best part of summer is watching the bees and butterflies as they move from flower to flower in the garden.
I rarely cook in the summer, preferring to eat cold salads and sandwiches. If I do cook, it's on the grill outside!

I'd like to have one to hang in front of my kitchen windows so they'll catch the breeze all summer. Loved the image created by your post of the No. End in the summertime. Unfortunately after the frightening weather we had over this past weekend and the extreme heat and humidity that went with it we're shivering today buffeted by strong ocean winds. We've been dreaming of L.A. but I guess now...Just waiting for 5:00...

Usually, I'd be really wary of leaving my email out in the open like this because I'm so scared of all those spammers on the internet.

But, this would be a really, really cool gift for my neice.

Oh my, that mobile is absolutely, amazingly beautiful!! It would go between the bookshelves in my living room where there is a blank, floor to ceiling brick wall (i.e. exposed chimney)...there would finally be a pretty focal point! Thanks for a great giveaway!

Just found your blog from "Nest Egg"...your writing is so entertaining, I'm having fun reading through the posts : )

A good appetizer recipe, if you're into this kind of stuff, is Buffalo Chicken Dip:

2 blocks cream cheese
2 cans (big) chicken
3-6 (or more) oz. Texas Pete or any hot sauce you like

Mix all together, add a layer of mozzarella cheese over the top, and bake at 350 for about 25-30 minutes. Soooo good!!
