the garaffice

i've recently been transforming my old office into a fresh little nest for my 6 year old. this means, my office is currently in my garage ( i have so much crap. it's time to apartment therapize my space)
america, welcome to my gara-office:
the only thing missing is a ham radio that i could be 'working' on while a baseball game is playing on a fuzzy transitor in the background. oh and maybe drinking schlitz in a can.
stay tuned for the new and improved office....coming soon!

Hmmm, that is quite a depressingly dishevelled space! Do post some photos if you find the solution - moving back home due to the prohibitive cost of my masters degree has not been kind to my room! So much stuff and so little living space...it's driving me crazy!!

it's totally depressing! ha!

it looks like i'm making a bomb or something.

but it's temporary....

that's what I keep telling myself too!! It's not that bad though, at least you have an office! I wrote my thesis on a variety of couches around the country!!! Roll on the day when I have my own place again!

Maybe it will make you work faster? But, oh, the prospect of doing the 6 year old girl's room. Heaven. If it's not too much to ask, we'd love to see that, too.

you're exactly spot on. mrs. b. i'm cruising on her room.

now to tear apart her old room and recreate it into something fresh for me!

her room is being slightly dictated by herself. but it's coming along rapidly

i ixnayed her desire for a mural of fairies and purple walls.
Referencing a ham radio and a can of schlitz is genius.

Thanks for the guffaw. Copy that.

ctd- you could never handle this! and that's actually where my surf board lives.

here's the cool thing about my gar-office, a whole wall opens up. how many offices can you just roll up a wall and enjoy your neighbors' waves as they drive by.

you all are rethinking this whole idea eh?

that and i get to wear my garanimals to work. see? you guys are definitely rethinking what i got goin' on.

I love the moniker gar-office!!! Does Websters recognize that as a word? How about when playing Scrabble? You should register it!
