i can totally make that-and so can you!

aha! while bouncing around bloggity blog world, i came across 'petitecapucine' i learned that she, also, is feeling the 'les indiennes' love- that love of which i'm sort of becoming a one-trick-pony about. BUT here, miss petite capucine shows us that, we can TOTALLY make it! wow. (this is one i hadn't really considered). these shots are pulled from an on-line, french magazine (can't remember which one), step by step, you can become the next l'enfant fantastique of this movement. ok ready? here goes. get your rolling pins out. adhesive backed foam, is drawn on and then cut to create a raised surface not sure what's going on here.placing it on the rolling pin loading up with fabric paintpractice first on a piece of muslin or an old pillow case. making sure you apply equal amounts of pressure throughout. et voila! your very own, wood block printed , whatever.

oh i should add, i think you need to somehow (dryer, warm iron) heat the ink to set it. i guess the fabric paint instrutcions would tell you that though.

this looks like great fun - and other than the cutting, my boys would love it, too.
