santa monica flea market!!

today i went to the santa monica flea market. i was dreading going, as i was at a celebratory party last night with lots of wine...blah. it was super hot and really sunny today. the last thing i wanted to be doing was walking around in the heat, on pavement, with loud airplanes all around, feeling gross. i wanted to be at the beach. but my friend dragged me, and thank god she did. because look at what i scored! indonesian bamboo.... and it's been painted with marine paint so it can actually sit outside on a patio if i want. this vendors booth was so nicely styled i had to take some shots of it. very thematic you can tell she must have so much fun with this... this is her nautical themed table. this is her black and white table there were a few more but i was jonzing for the beach and so didn't have time to take the pictures (actually couldn't be bothered) here is one of the chairs in its new home (bad blurry picture) and i made it to the beach in time to enjoy a lovely nap under an umbrella.
