resin d'etre

Nothing freezes the 7th grade memory of Friday nights at Coach Light Skating Center, better than the resin, Roller Stop from Harry Allen's Reality collection. A lively alternative to blanc de chine.

That is one sweet bookend, but I'd have to paint the stopper glittery pink, on principle.

We used to have roller-skating parties when I was growing up too! I even took lessons - I can remember how excited I was when I learned how to skate backwards!!!!
This takes me back.
I wonder in 20 years if they'll have bookends to look like roller blades?

I love that! Brings back some happy memories at the civic center of skinned knees, bad music and big crushes.
