and I thought I'd mention...

I was very flattered to be asked for commentary on Decorati's Profile page. It's a great feature the site has created, profiling different designers and then dipping into the blogger world for our take on the work. This week, art deco inspired designer Jean de Merry is featured. Jean De Merry's line is really quite something to behold, if you're not already familiar. Read more here.

Please tell Decorati that the wing chair they put in this post is NOT by Jean De Merry. It's by Fritz Henningsen.

Not sure how this happened, since Decorati has identified the chair's designer correctly in the past:

So well done and deserved. And you should know that even were you not eminently qualified, your interest and talent alone make this blog worth a subscription!

you know what anon, I was thinking the same thing. The chair is called the Aland Wing Chair on The JdM website. But it's exactly, the Frits Henningsen chair.

I actually emailed them asking what was up with that. Maybe the Aland Wing Chair is 'Inspired' by the Danish designer's chair?

Anyway, glad you pointed that out.
