peace out

What's the deal. Is something in retrograde? What a, phenomenally, weird week that was. Time to press the restart button and cruise into the free floating, gray area of 'weekend'. recharge our senses, rub the dust from our eyes, scrub our faces pink and hold them up to next week's approval.
Oh and, post script: Thank you, Susannah over at Petunia Faced Girl for making me laugh all week over the funniest post I've read in a long time -
" Oh--also? I had a conversation with a stranger while in a public restroom stall.
Her: Hey! How are you?
Me (not wanting to be rude): Um, fine? How are you?
Her: What are you doing?
Me (mystified, too nervous to pee): Uh, you know, just going to the bathroom! Ha!
Her: Hold on a second, there's some chick in the other stall trying to talk to me.
Me: (_*_) "
thank you for that. I'm still sitting at stoplights, guffawing aloud when I think of it.
dare I ask.....what do you think of the new header?

Love the new header, loved the old one too! I grew up in Southern California and the life guard station is engrained in me...I'm so attracted to it. We've designed a new house (on the beach in WA) (that I hope we get to build one day) that's a larger version of one! Happy Friday...enjoy the weekend and start fresh on Monday.
LOVE the new header :) would love to be there right now. if that view doesn't help press the 'restart' button, i don't know what will... have a great weekend!

I noticed the new header instantly and love it!! It is perfect. Have a great week-end and thanks for "peace out"--needed to be reminded.

Love the new header, it feels like a better reflection of where you are now. You'll laugh though, I made a mock up of a Jonathan Adler tote on line inspired by your old header. I'll run it next week anyway.

And, yeah, the week has been wacky.

Thank God someone else thinks this too -- the past two weeks have been filled with mishaps, misunderstandings, missed appts, etc. Crazy! Mercury in retro was supposed to end on May llth. I too plan to take the weekend off and hit the reset button...

ok, cool. thank you. I think it does better suit where I am these days. a little more contemplative. I loved the old one, and it may make a come back, it was just time for a change.

It's a bit large, if anyone knows how to make it smaller?? I'm still investigating that one.

It's a good change, cookie...I just changed mine too...more for summer. You know, more empty space, shedding skin kinda thing. And, I'm going to the post you mentioned, I need a good laugh.
Be sure to visit me tomorrow for Pink Saturday with a special note from Simone. OK?

cathy, I don't even know all of that cosmic stuff, but seriously, everyone seems just...off this week. It's like the whole world decided to take up smoking crack. yes. something is surely in retrograde.

I usually read you in my Google Reader, but had to click on over to see the new header. May I say...TOTALLY worth the extra click and then some. LOVE IT.

And thanks for the bathroom stall shout-out :)

Happy Freakin' Friday,
S

Yes, actually Mars was in Retrograde up until Tuesday, I think...so you're instincts were right!
Sooo ready for the weekend ~

did I say Mars? I meant Mercury...not sure which M planet I put! Must be the communication planet, whichever one that is! lol

I would totally do what you did! That is something that I would laugh about at completely random times for the rest of my life!! Thank you for sharing even though it must have been horrifying :)

PS the new header looks great!

Like the new header. Also sorta like its big size and empty space. It's a break, an oasis, when clicking over from other crammed sites. Zen.

That bathroom stall dialog was seriously hilarious. I'm still laughing about it. And I love the new header! But, yes, I think a little smaller would be better for people like me with little computer screens...the header is all I see when I open the page. But it rocks, so you should keep it either way.
