West Third Brand Candles ~ in the HOUSE! Give Away Time

I love a good give away. And this week I've got THREE, yes, TRES, count 'em TROIS West Third Brand Candles to give away to a lucky winner.
Without apology, I'm a candle snob. I'm a tough customer and I've been a huge fan of this line ever since I bought my first from Audrey {@ Urbanic in Venice Beach} The cool glass votive container alone, with the etched Peacock feather, was worth a second look, but inhaling the lovely, heady scent had me sold.
They burn beautifully with a fragrance that is a complex layering of aromatic essences that at times can be detected individually and at others, as a harmonic compilation {I take my smells seriously} This one is 'Cassis de Cassis' , which combines rich black currant, top notes of bergamot, licorice and black pepper finished with the freshness of Norwegian pine and the sweetness of myrrh.
"West Third believes Quality defines luxury. Hand poured with a proprietary natural coconut wax blend, the finest lead-free wicks and crafted with the finest perfume and natural oils available."
taking the Cassis de Cassis for a test drive at the bungalow.
Personally { i.e. WTB, does not endorse this use of their product } I love to pour a bit of the warm oil on to the back of my hand once I've blown out the candle. The fragrance smells wonderful and it leaves your skin super soft.
OK! on with the give away. Just leave me a comment. And please, make sure your email is linked to your comment. That's it!
small print:: Give away ends, Thursday, July 22nd, 2010, 11:00 pm PST and will be announced on Friday, July 23rd, 2010. I will make every effort to carefully package and ship your winning candle. However, if for some reason, it gets damaged during shipping, please don't be an entitled jerk about it. It's a give away. Don't get greedy. I'll do my best. Love you!!! xoxo. Viel Glück.

I just moved into a new 'old' house...it's got good bones & lots of charm, but as my girls have continuously pointed out, it doesn't SMELL like one of our homes yet. These would surly do the trick, as I am a candle snob myself. and I hold my head high! ;)
it really is a fantastic give away!

great giveaway, sounds like it smells wonderful! and I love the feathers!
Megan- Where is Urbanic? I love love love candles and have been using them for over 15 years. My first candle was Illume Gardenia until Illume sold out to Illuminations. Talk about a candle snob. I wrote to the company telling them the candle didn't smell the same and they swear they didn't change a thing. Not so. When you know your candles you know when something changes. I'm dyinng to try this one. Hmmm. Have to check it. What other kinds to they offer?

I'm a candle snob too, but you've got me sold!
Why doesn't my husband understand the wonderfulness of a good candle? Maybe this one would change his mind...pleeaaase? :)
Thanks, Megan!

As I cannot afford a vacation the next best thing is to have a great scent - inhale deeply, close eyes and transport myself to another place. I think this candle might just do the trick......

As I cannot afford a vacation - the next best thing is to mentally transport yourself to some fabulous locale. How do you do this - well you smell something so good like this candle and close your eyes and voila!
thanks

Bath & Body Works had an aromatherapy line that they carried called Awake in the scent of bergamot coriander. I loved this scent so much. I would always buy the candles and the lotion. My husband would use the lotion on his face and neck every morning after he finnished shaving. I loved the smell on him more than I did on myself! Wouldn't you know they discontinued only this scent from their aromatherapy line. Please, please, please give me this candle; I've got to smell my favorite scent again! mcarrere@cebridge.net

And the OTHER best thing about these candles is that they're the slowest-burning candle on the market. And I'm not just saying that because Michael from West Third's my best friend...they really are the best.

I too am a candle connoiseur! I am really into Akeewakee Candles made in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Their scents are multi dimensional and the packaging is so gorgeous that I hate to open the candle!

West Third Brand sounds equally delicous. Thanks for posting a giveaway. Love it! Janice tideswest@bellsouth.net
The candle is beautiful but when I saw the creamy statues a long side it, it was "be still my heart"!
