By the way, there's an interesting interview with Kitchen designer Lyn Peterson about the, Frankfurt Kitchen which was designed by, Margarete Schutte-Lihotzky in the late 1920s. The kitchen is the original design recipe to how we layout and design a kitchen even now, in modern times. The MoMA had the actual kitchen on display but I believe the exhibit went down in March. In the mean time, have a listen to this quick interview:

Ooo ohh! Saw this last spring - such simple perfection.
This kitchen forces the gathering back into the LIVING room - as there is little room for more than 2 people. BE HONEST, how many times does the cook ever have real helpers?
Cheers!
Perfectly balanced! It blends with the space and compliments every furniture. It's difficult to capture that essence. You did a brilliant job!
I think there's still one up at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. I think it's part of the permanent collection.
