Great conversation and very timely as I have not been blogging as much as usual. I am still visiting all my blog friends, I am in need of some new inspiration. I just painted a work of art that looks just like another of mine!

I found these week's conversation to be interesting and motivational..I did not like the fact that a few blogs were brought up in a negative light..after Linda was saying "without mentioning names"...then she brings up the blog....thought that was a little mean spirited..I think Grace should have been able to defend her place in blogland and where she is now! Blogging has helped some people grow into something and out of other things... I got the point, but felt that it wasn't fair....My blog is not a "design" blog by any stretch, I do post occasionally on what inspires me, and what I think others will find inspirational or beautiful...and have had the honor to have you and Joni occasionally pop by to make a comment.. Thanks again..love your blogs..

Ivy, I think your point is really valid. Although, I don't think it was meant to be mean spirited.

I think what Linda was trying to say was that she liked feeling that there was a personalized aspect to Grace's blog. And for Linda (and myself) it feels that she's pulled away from that quality as she's become more commercial. I'm not sure this is a negative thing. For all we know, this is exactly what Grace would like to project.

I'm glad that you felt comfortable enough to let us know your own opinion and hope you'll keep tuning in!
