Isabel Lopez-Quesada has such a fearless approach to pattern, texture and color. Every time I see her work, I want to stop and examine all of the intricacies - bold and subtle, there's a quietness to her palettes that without the playful patterns and interesting artifacts, could seem somber. Instead, it all seems very balanced and  calmed.

I love Quesada's work. In my mind it is a synthesis of modern pulling in the timeless Spanish aesthetic where furniture and objects are used as sculpture. I wish that we were exposed to more of her work here in the US.
Thanks. Mary
